We believe privacy should be simple. Here's what MyTidbits collects, why we collect it, and what we never do.
What we collect
Email address and Apple ID. We use these to create your account and keep you signed in. That's it. We don't use them for marketing unless you explicitly ask us to.
Session data. Things like which stories you've read, your reading streak, and which topics you pick most. This is what powers the app — your streak, your history, your personalized experience. It stays inside the app.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your information is not a product.
We don't show ads. The app has no ads, no trackers, no creepy retargeting. We make money through subscriptions, not through your attention.
We don't share with third parties. The only service that touches your data is our backend provider, which stores it securely. They can't access or read your data — it's encrypted and protected by strict access rules.
How we store your data
Everything lives on secure, encrypted servers. We use industry-standard practices to keep your account and reading data safe. Access is limited to what the app needs to function — nothing more.
Your data, your control
You can request a full copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and every trace of it, at any time. No hoops, no waiting periods.
To request deletion, just email privacy@mytidbits.net. We'll confirm within 48 hours and have it done within 7 days.
iOS only
MyTidbits is currently available only on iOS. This policy applies to the iOS app and anything you do through it.
